The Beyond the Walls mission, which unlocks new content, will be available after players unlock Yasuke as the main playable character. If you've already done this, just look for the quest icon in the Yamashiro region, northeast of Kyoto and east of the Genbu Plateau.
To complete the quest, you can fast travel to Hanazono Castle. Once loaded, jump down and go to the marker, where the bodies of the scouts who died in Attack on Titan will be waiting for you. Approach the soldier lying next to the cobblestone to start the mission.
Return to Hanazono Castle and move towards the ruins in the center. There you will hear enemies interrogating the prisoner – sneak inside and kill them to free him. A new heroine, Ada, one of the scouts, will be captured. After a short conversation, select a line confirming that you're ready to follow her and most of the new content will begin.
And the content itself is worth checking out at least for the reward – the legendary katana, forged from a piece of crystal in the same cave in Attack on Titan. It has a unique aesthetic effect and properties that can be transferred to other weapons at the blacksmith.
