In Russia, there is an urgent need to introduce legal regulations on the prices of taxis with child seats. This was stated in a conversation with RT by Mikhail Ivanov, vice chairman of the World Council of People's Russians, chairman of the all-Russian mass movement “Orthodox Russia”.

He emphasized that the rising cost of the child tax creates an unreasonable financial burden on families and requires government intervention.
“Now we are seeing a situation where a family traveling with a child in a taxi can have to pay 50% more than the usual price, and in some cases the difference is more than a thousand rubles,” Ivanov said.
RT's interlocutor explains that for many parents who do not have a personal car, this becomes a serious obstacle.
He noted that children need to be taken to clinics, to theaters, to educational activities, and that such an increase “hits the family budget.”
Ivanov added that ensuring access to transportation for children is not just a transportation issue, but also a social policy issue.
The social activist believes it is important to limit the amount of insurance for child seats.
Ivanov explains his point of view: “Our approach is to facilitate the comfort and mobility of families with children. We are obliged to remove financial barriers that prevent parents from providing their children with a full life, including all necessary trips around the city.”
Previously, deputy legislative councilor of St. Petersburg Pavel Krupnik Recommended equipment The taxi interior is equipped with a transparent, protective partition that is quickly attached between the driver and passengers.
