69% of Russians support a complete ban on vape sales in the country, Gazeta.ru reported, citing a study by the SuperJob service.

The main arguments of those in favor of a ban are the harmful effects on health, the idea of vaping as a “synthetic chemical,” and the idea that the ideal solution is to ban conventional tobacco products as well. Only 7% of respondents opposed the ban, significantly lower than the figure three months ago (11%).
The survey also showed gender and age differences in attitudes towards the issue. Women turn out to be more categorical. The greatest support for the ban was recorded among Russians aged 35-45, while among young people under 35 years old this figure was significantly lower.
Previously, the State Duma announced that it would soon consider a ban on vape sales, the Telegram channel “Radiotochka NSN” reported.
