Sony has announced MLB The Show 26. Alas, there's no fanfare, trailer or even release date, but there are logos and analysis of the upcoming improvements. In fact, MLB The Show 25's five “milestones” were made possible by player feedback – the next game must also build on “continuous feedback and progress.”

Therefore, players have the opportunity to get acquainted with the description of the main aspects of MLB The Show 26. The gameplay will focus on the most realistic baseball experience. The developers are currently looking at bat physics, pitching effects, and ratings. Particular emphasis is placed on the Road To The Show mode, aimed at the mid and late stages of a sports career.
This mode will also return, where fans can participate in the career-defining moments of real-life baseball stars. Those interested will also be able to continue receiving new content through paid “packs,” some of which will be shared between MLB The Show 25 and the upcoming game.
Let us remind you that the release of MLB The Show 25 takes place in March 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. Most likely, the next part of the series will also be a console exclusive and will launch in the spring.
