How much is the fee for issuing a driver's license and passport? On the agenda after the 2025 Revaluation Rate

As 2026 approaches, driver's license and passport fees are on the agenda of millions of people. The Revaluation Rate, announced every November after October inflation data becomes clear, is the basis for increases in taxes and fees. With the rates announced for 2026, people are curious about how much the driver's license and passport fees will be. Below are the new driver's license and passport fees that will take effect in 2026:

The fees for new driver's licenses and passports are determined after the Revaluation Rate is announced in November each year. According to 12-month average PPI data, the current driver's license and passport fees, which will increase in the new year, have been announced. Below are upcoming tax and fee increases as well as fees for new driver's licenses and passports.
REVIEW RATIO 25.49 PERCENT

The revaluation rate, which will take effect in 2026, was officially announced with the release of October inflation data. The revaluation rate that will take effect in the new year is 25.49%.
Accordingly; Fees for driver's licenses and passports in 2026 will increase by 25.49%.
HOW MUCH IS THE FEE FOR A DRIVING LICENSE IN 2026?

With the announcement of the Revaluation Rate, the fee for issuing a new driver's license will be as follows:
The fee for issuing driver's licenses A, A1, A2 will increase from 1883.1 lira to 2363.1 lira.
The fee for issuing a B driving license will be 7126.1 lira from 5678.6 lira.
Driver's license renewal will increase from 15 lira to 18.8 lira and new driver's license renewal will increase from 340 lira to 426.7 lira.
The price of valuable papers will increase from 1420 lira to 1782 lira.
HOW MUCH IS A PASSPORT FEE IN 2026?

Citizens who are going abroad but whose passports are expired will have their passport fees increased by 25.49% in the new year. Accordingly;
Passport fee for 6 months: from 2359.4 lira to 2960.8 lira
Passport fee for 1 year: 4328.7 lira from 3449.4 lira,
Passport fee for 2 years: 7066.8 lira from 5631.4 lira,
Passport fee for 3 years: 10039.2 liras from 8000 liras,
Passport fee over 3 years: Will increase from 11274 lira to 14147.7 lira.
Passport book value will be 1424.3 lira from 1135 lira.
