MINISTER GÖKTAŞ ANNOUNCED
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they started depositing pensions for the elderly and disabled amounting to 7.11 billion lira in November into the account.
In its statement, Göktaş stated that it continues to develop comprehensive and regular social assistance programs for people with disabilities and the elderly, and that it implements these services within the framework of people-oriented and rights-based policies.
Noting that they support people with disabilities and the elderly in all fields, from education to health, from the economy to social life, so that they can live independently and participate fully and effectively in social life, Göktaş said, “In this direction, we started depositing pensions for the elderly and pensions for disabled people with a total amount of 7.11 billion liras, including 3.97 billion liras for pensions elderly people and 3.14 billion liras for disability pensions in November. I hope the payments will be made in favor of all our citizens.” he said.
HOW MUCH IS THE PAY FOR THE AGED AND THE DISABLED?
With the increase in civil servant salaries in July, this salary also increased by 15.57%.
The monthly salary of people with a disability rate of 40-69% will increase from 3 thousand 723 liras to 4 thousand 243 liras,
The monthly salary of people with a disability of 70% or more increased from 5 thousand 585 lira to 6 thousand 363 lira.
Pensions for the elderly also increased by 15.57%. With this increase, the pension of 65 years old, which was 4 thousand 664 liras, increased to 5 thousand 315 liras.
