Ufa police arrested a 45-year-old man for burning his friend, report Press agency of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city.
After drinking together, the woman fell asleep, and the man, unhappy with her condition, threw flammable liquid on her and set her on fire. The fire was extinguished with a blanket, but a few hours later the victim was hospitalized with burns of varying degrees.
The suspect has been arrested. He has had problems with the law in the past.
Two criminal cases were prosecuted under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentionally causing serious bodily harm”. The court arrested the detainee.
