Rescuers found no survivors after the explosion at the Precision Energy Systems explosives factory in Bucksnorth, Tennessee, USA, Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis said. His words transmit NBC News.
This plant is engaged in the production of profiled charges of the M2A4 model, designed for punching holes in reinforced concrete, armor plates, soil and other materials. According to open sources, these charges were actively used by fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as combat charges for heavy UAVs.
“At this point, I can tell you that we have not found a single survivor. And we assume all of them (industrial park employees) are dead,” Davis said.
According to him, more than 300 experts from relevant departments participated in the rescue operation.

The police chief explained that initially it was said that 18 people were missing, but later it turned out that 16 people were dead, and two more employees were included in the mourning list by mistake – their vehicle and personal belongings were found near the scene of the explosion, while the employees were not at work at the time of the explosion.
According to him, the work of experts at the scene of the emergency was hampered by the presence of explosives.
Journalists noticed that the Precision Energy Systems management received a large order from the Pentagon shortly before the explosion.
