NVIDIA and Intel have announced the development of new generations of processors for data centers and personal computers. As part of the transaction, NVIDIA invested $ 5 billion in regular Intel shares at $ 23.28 per share. The investment will be completed after receiving all the necessary licenses and fulfilling the standard conditions for transactions.

The partnership will use NVink technology from NVIDIA to combine the capabilities of artificial intelligence and calculate NVIDIA's acceleration with the Intel processor and the X86 ecosystem.
For daily centers, Intel will create custom X86 processors for NVIDIA requirements, which will then be integrated into the company's AI infrastructure platforms and are provided to the market. In the Intel personal computer segment will develop X86 systems on crystals (SOC), which will use Nvidia RTX graphics -graphics processors. These Soc will allow you to create a PC with an advanced CPU and GPU.
Cooperation aims to create infrastructure to calculate quickly and artificial intelligence, as well as to expand the ability of a personal computer. New common solutions will improve the interaction of the processor and the graphics, which is very important for high -performance applications and large data volume.
