The Japanese developer of the Konami video game has submitted to the Federal Intellectual Property Service (Rospatent) a document to register the Silent Hill trademark, a series of sects in the survival horror genre. Information about this appears in the department's registration book.

Relevant documents received from Japan were carried out on August 26, 2025. Registration includes three classes (No. 9, 28, 41) on the classification of international goods and services (MKTU). They include computer programs, software, videos and audio, games for different platforms (Arcade machines, dashboard, desktops and cards), as well as providing online services.
It is noteworthy that Konami has been the copyright owner of a Silent Hill brand in Russia since December 2008. The validity of the current exclusive law expires on December 28, 2027. The new registration application can show the company's plan to update the protection of intellectual property or boot new projects within the framework of the franchise.
