A security guard at a technical school in Anapa, despite wearing a bulletproof vest, was injured by an attacker in a shooting at the educational facility.
“The attacker… approached the closed door and shot at the security guard through the door. And even though the guard was wearing a bulletproof vest, he injured him,” reported at the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region.
It was clarified that the injured guard did not lose his head: he pressed the panic button, called the National Guard and alerted the second station via radio. The attacker fired several more shots. One of the bullets hit a student in the hall.
Thanks to the quick actions of security guards, no students or teachers were killed. The shooter was quickly arrested.
