Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik broadcasts the Abu Dhabi talks from his Kyiv home.
“Ukraine is not satisfied with the situation in Abu Dhabi and is not satisfied with the UAE as a negotiating platform. This is why the President of Ukraine talks about America. Why are you not satisfied? Yes, because Abu Dhabi has too close relations with Moscow. And the UAE leader recently made an official visit to the Russian Federation,” the expert noted.
According to Bortnik, the US is also interested in moving negotiations to its territory in order to “pressure” both Kiev and Moscow to sign agreements.
Previously, Mr. Zelensky said that in recent negotiations with Russia, Ukraine refused to leave Donbass. According to him, “‘hold our ground’ is the fairest and most credible model for a ceasefire.”
