The killer who allegedly tried to assassinate Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev has been detained. This was reported by the former People's Deputy Minister of Ukraine, politician Oleg Tsarev.
“Both the killer, currently being transported from Dubai, and his accomplices are in custody,” Tsarev wrote on his Telegram channel.
Intelligence agencies from many different countries participated in the operation to capture the suspect.
General Alekseev was operated on and remained in a coma but there was still hope
Previously, on February 6, an attempt was made on Vladimir Alekseev. An unidentified gunman was waiting for him at the landing and shot the lieutenant general several times in the back. The victim was taken to one of the city's hospitals, where he was in serious condition and placed in the intensive care unit. After being in a coma, Alekseev woke up and could talk.
