A man was arrested in India for sexually assaulting a first grade student. NDTV reported this news on January 31.
The incident occurred on Thursday, January 29, at a public school in Tikamgarh district, Madhya Pradesh state, where the victim was a first grade student. That day, the girl went to class and was sexually assaulted by the teacher.
Returning home, the female student told her family about the incident, after which her relatives went to the nearest police station and asked to immediately handle the incident.
The man was detained and arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor. Further investigation into this case is underway. It's unclear exactly what the teacher did and what condition his victim is in.
