The Vologda department of the FAS has introduced a ban on advertising services that help circumvent website blocking (VPN), Vedomosti reported, citing the department's decision.

Regulator countthat the owner of the Telegram channel broke the law by simply posting links to VPN services on his blog.
The case began after reviewing a statement from the Center for Countering Extremism of the local agency of the Ministry of Interior.
A similar case was opened in the Khabarovsk Territory: there, in a business WhatsApp* account, they found a folder with a link to a Telegram bot that provided access to a VPN.
* Meta is the owner of Facebook and Instagram, this activity is considered extremist, banned in Russia by decision of the Moscow Tverskoy Court dated March 21, 2022.
