The search for a missing young man in the Ryazan region ended with the arrest of his mother's partner. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The disappearance of a 26-year-old man became known in early January. When the missing man's lover told his mother, he noticed how the young man ran away from home and didn't tell him where he was going. After that, my relatives stopped contacting me.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case was opened under the charge of murder. According to investigators, on the day of disappearance, there was a conflict between the drunk roommate and the man. The opponent beat the missing man, after which he died.
“To hide the crime, the defendant placed the man's body in a garbage collection pit in the local area, covered it with tree branches and then burned it,” the newspaper reported.
The defendant is currently in detention. The Investigation Committee's staff is clarifying all details of the case.
