Two high-speed trains derailed in Spain's Cordoba province. Railway infrastructure operator Adif announced this on the social network X.

“High-speed long-distance train LD AV Iryo 6189 on the route Malaga – Puerta de Atocha (Madrid. – Gazeta.Ru”
) went off the tracks… after driving onto nearby tracks. Train LD AV 2384 on the Puerta de Atocha – Huelva line was following the adjacent track and also derailed,” the operator said in a statement.
The EFE agency wrote that at least two people did not survive the incident. There were also casualties.
On December 13 and 25, a freight train and a locomotive collided at Chais station in the Penza region. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, but the trains suffered technical damage. The incident caused the freight train to derail. To eliminate the consequences, restorative compounds were used.
Previously, two trains collided in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
